You have the chance to impact a family who is walking through the valley of childhood illness – to lift them above the clouds. One week can change a family’s perspective and bring hope to their situation.
More than 50,000 families in the U.S. are suffering from pediatric cancer, a devastating childhood illness that impacts the entire family. For these families Blue Skies is a week of healing, new friends and beautiful memories they will cherish forever. Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters and volunteers, we are able to cover the $50,000 cost to host 12 families at each retreat.
We can’t cure their child, but we sure can be the hands and feet of Christ offering His love and His hope to their every need. We pray you will partner with us and help make the dream of Blue Skies a reality for these children and their families. Here are some ways you can help:
- Make a donation! Every gift we receive is truly appreciated and used with excellent stewardship to make our retreats possible. From $5 to $2500, your donation helps us advance our mission to serve families. (If you choose to give online, the donation amount begins at $10).
- Host an awareness/funding event. Invite your friends over for a BBQ or a cup of coffee and tell them about Blue Skies. Give them a chance to help make a difference in the lives of those facing the challenges of pediatric cancer or other life-threatening pediatric illnesses.
- Spread the word. Join our cause on Facebook. Share about Blue Skies with your friends on Facebook, at work, in church, in your neighborhood. You tell two friends, and they’ll tell two friends, and so on and so on and so on.
