what to expect

You can expect lots of smiles and excitement! Our team of volunteers will be ready to greet you with open arms! Check in is between 4pm-5pm EST. Just pull up to the resort and the valet will unload your car. Afterwards you can park your car and meet us in the lobby.

After a quick picture of your family, we’ll get you the key to your room!. We will kick off our weekend together at 5pm in the barn behind the resort with a pizza party, Blue Skies welcome, costume parade and s’mores around the campfire! (Be sure to wear your costume when you come down to the barn!)

Saturday will begin with fun and togetherness at Good Morning Blue Skies and Chapel! When Chapel finishes, parents gather to get to know each other and share their journeys while kids celebrate fall with crafts, cornhole, and fun games! The rest of the day will be spent Dollywood! Woohoo!!! There is a complimentary tram to shuttle you to Dollywood. You can grab lunch with your Chick-fil-A cards before you head to the park, eat in the park, or somewhere in town! Dollywood is open until 9pm. If you tire out before it closes, DreamMore serves s'mores around the campfire from 7pm-8pm and bedtime stories right afterward!

On Sunday, we'll gather for Good Morning Blue Skies and our camp benediction and head out by 10:30.

As you can see, we are squeezing A LOT of fun into this weekend! Every activity is for us to not only have so much fun but will also give us all a chance to make new friends and incredible memories together! Our prayer is that we all return home with smiles on our faces and hearts filled with joy and hope!

meals

We will have pizza together on our first night; for breakfast you will get a snack bag on arrival with breakfast bars. Feel free to bring yogurt, fruit, whatever you like from home or there are lots of options nearby. You will receive gift card for lunch at Chick-fil-A nearby the hotel or you can save it for another time and eat in the park! Dinner is on your own. We have a small gift to help you with your food at Dollywood.

The resort has a market pantry (https://www.dollywood.com/dreammore/dining/dm-pantry/) that sells Starbucks, ice cream, pizza, sandwiches/salads and other snack foods. They also sell their famous cinnamon bread in the market. There is a full service restaurant in the hotel along with one at the other hotel on property. Food delivery services also deliver to the resort.! There is a small refrigerator in each room.

housing

We will be staying at the beautiful DreamMore Resort. Your family will be staying in a room with a king bed and set of bunks, or a room with a king bed, a sleeper sofa and a set of bunks.

travel

We wish we could blink you over to camp, but each family must provide their own transportation. The nearest airport to Dollywood is Knoxville (TYS) Airport which is 25.7 miles away. Other nearby airports include Asheville (AVL) (61.7 miles).
