Thank you to everyone who participated in our first ever round of Hope Boxes! We have sent out all of the Hope Boxes we assembled at the end of 2025 and are praying for funding for a second round to go out to newly diagnosed families. If you are a newly diagnosed family, you can still fill out the request form to be considered if we are able to send out a second round of Hope Boxes. In the mean time, we will still be bringing community and prayer to newly diagnosed families!

What is a Hope Box?

A HOPE BOX is a gift to families who are beginning their journey of pediatric cancer. They are filled with all things happy, helpful and hopeful - happy and fun goodies for the whole family; helpful supplies when a hospital visit is needed; and, gifts to bring hope to the heart and soul. 

In 2010, Blue Skies was founded to bring hope to children with cancer and their families through beach camps and mountain getaways. Later Blue Skies launched Beyond Blue Skies (for families who recently lost their child to cancer) then CAMP@HOME (held at a local children’s hospital for families whose child was too sick to travel) followed by expanding camp locations to the west coast in San Diego and Orange County.

Our heart is to reach every family whose child is diagnosed with pediatric cancer and share hope and blue skies with them, yet 47 children are diagnosed with cancer every day. That’s an entire school bus full of children whose families are faced with hearing words that will change their lives forever. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Until we can provide enough camps and getaways for every family whose child is diagnosed with cancer to experience, we are offering hope and Blue Skies through the gift of a HOPE BOX.
